Generations Workshops for Parents and Adult Children

What is the Generations Workshop?

Relationships between parents and their adult children are complicated. It seems there are posts, podcasts, and articles highlighting the prevalence of estrangement or no-contact relationships everywhere we look. We are offering a safe space where parents and adult children can begin to see if there are possibilities for repair, for a better relationship and connection.

The Generations Workshop focuses on healing and strengthening relationships between parents and adult children by addressing unresolved family patterns and fostering emotionally safe communication. Through guided structured dialogues, participants practice empathic listening, become conscious of family dynamics, and learn to rewrite old patterns that no longer serve them.

This workshop was created by Dr(s) Sabine and Roland Boesel. They reside and work in Austria. These workshops, created by the Boesels, are now offered in Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, France, The Netherlands, Namibia , South Africa and growing.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is designed for parents and adult children who want to heal issues in their parent-child relationship, express love and validation that has been missing, address long-held emotional pain, or deepen an already healthy relationship. It is for those who have experienced hurtful interactions or boundary violations, who want to release their adult children into independence respectfully, or who seek to resolve misunderstandings that have created distance. This workshop is for those who have the courage to look at family patterns honestly and create something better.

What You Will Gain

This workshop provides you with the opportunity to address unspoken feelings and heal old injuries in a safe environment, learn emotionally safe and respectful communication skills, and recognize personal growth that has come from painful experiences. You will prevent negative emotional patterns from being passed to future generations, experience guided structured dialogues that promote empathic listening, and become conscious of family dynamics so you can rewrite old patterns. Participants consistently report feeling heard, validated, and hopeful about the future of their family relationships.

Our Team

Each workshop is facilitated by our team of therapists led by Renee Morgan LCSW, Dawn Marple Gise LCSW and Samantha Barrett LCSW. Renee and Samantha are a mother and daughter who have participated in this workshop and can attest to this transformative experience. Renee and Dawn are relationship specialists who are Imago Therapy Advanced Clinicians and Imago Relationship Weekend Workshop Presenters. The three of us have a lot of experience and success helping those struggling in relationships.

Workshop meeting Times:

Friday 25: 3:00 pm to 9 pm
Saturday 26: 9:30 am to 7 pm
Sunday 27: 9:30 am to 3 pm

We provide drinks, fruit, and a snack buffet during breaks. On Saturday, lunch is on your own. This lunch is not included in the fee.

Fee: The workshop fee is $1195.00 per generation pair. ($597.50 per person). Please indicate your preferred payment method in the form below.

Early Bird Discount: Register before September 1, 2026, and the full fee will be $1095.00 ( $100 discount). We require a $200 deposit at the time of registration to hold your spot.
